Testing Fire-Resistant BUILDING MATERIALS TO INCREASE FIRE RESILIENCE OF COMMUNITIES IN THE WILDLAND-URBAN INTERFACE
Join us in a collaborative initiative testing fire-resistant coating and building material innovations. This evaluation is being conducted in partnership with Cal Fire, Cal Poly Humboldt, and industry representatives, and serves as a platform for evaluating innovative solutions in fire safety in larger scale field settings.
Event Overview:
We will be testing recent advances in fire resistant coatings and building materials at North Fork Lumber mill in Korbel, California. This event is an opportunity to witness field-scale testing of these technologies under direct flame exposure.
